About Me
My Friends call me "Fabs"
Hey there! My name is Fabian Solis, but you can call me "Fabs". I was born and raised here in Taos, NM where I spent my childhood sharing a world with artists and learning where to fit in with my particular style.
My creative journey led me to the sunny shores of Southern California where I discovered my love for the movies and picked up a camera to stick it nearly anywhere I could manage, short of starting altercations.
Just as I was starting to gain some steam, the world had other plans that were seemingly out of our collective control... Queue the Pandemic.
Worst of Times, Best of Times
When the world was shut down I took that time to dust off my camera and start making something for myself in the "movie world". I filmed myself in cool scenes and lighting, took a ton of portraits of friends and family, recorded almost everything I saw in creative ways and realized that I ONLY wanted to do THIS going forward.
My tenacity for everything creative landed me on movie sets, filming weddings, shooting music videos and even allowed me to produce and lead projects of my own.
A Beautiful Feeling
Having the ability to record special moments for clients, friends, or myself puts me in a state of bliss. Yes, it's hard work, but I get lost in something that ultimately feeds my soul. That may sound cheesy, but If you've been there, you know.
Today, I continue to create art that is used to bolster others in positive ways and in turn, make me feel like I'm always heading in the right direction. There is no greater feeling for me than that. What else could I ask for? Well... and end to world hunger and eradication of diseases is up there.
